The OSD Mentoring Department offers support for all mentors in the important work that they do for the new teachers in the district. All mentors must go through a mentoring basic training course in order to qualify to become a trainer. Follow-up trainings are also scheduled which emphasizes mentoring/coaching best practice and support for new teachers.
