Please look under Documents and Forms for the revised Junior High School Athletics Handbook for 2010-11.

The same teams and sports that were offered last year will be offered this year with the following exception:

Freshman girl's interested in playing soccer will have the option of playing on the high school team or the junior high team.

If enough freshmen remain on the junior high team, arrangements will be made to add some freshman only games after the junior high season is over.  If there are enough participants, there will be two girl's soccer teams for girls in 7th-9th grade.

*NOTE:Freshman may play on a high school team if 1. The sport is not offered as a freshman only sport at the junior high or 2. If the freshman is a significant contributor at the varsity level. (Please see District athletic handbook or Board policy 8.38 for specifics).

In an effort to build up the number of participants for softball and baseball in Ogden City School District, will be offer freshman baseball and softball @ each of the two high schools this year. We will also offer baseball and softball @ each of the junior high schools. If we have enough participants at the junior high schools, we may be able to offer two teams per school. If a freshman does not play on the high school team, they will be eligible to play at the junior high.
