    There is no cost to the teacher or the donor. Unlike other donation sites which may charge up to a 25% fee, the Ogden School Foundation will cover all processing costs for this site.
  2. Are donations made through Ogden City Schools Donations tax deductible?
    The Ogden School Foundation is handling all donations and is a 501 (c) (3) charity and donations are tax deductible as allowed by law.
  3. Can I partially fund a project?
    Yes, you can. We certainly hope a number of donors contributing can make these projects happen. However, if a project does not receive full funding within six months and partial funding cannot be used for the project, funds will be transferred to Ogden School Foundation Grants Program to fund minigrants for teachers.
  4. Can I donate the items needed rather than make a cash donation?
    Yes, you can. Please call the Ogden School Foundation at 737-7305 to make arrangements to drop off the needed items.
  5. How secure is Ogden City Schools Donations Web site? Can I donate by check?
    Online donations are handled through PayPal, a secure online payment service. If you prefer to pay by check, you can send it directly to Ogden School Foundation at 1950 Monroe Blvd. Ogden, UT 84401.
  6. Is there a minimum donation?
    No, excpet in the case of Quick Donations, donations as small as $10 will be accepted there.

    Yes, contact the Ogden School Foundation office at 801-737-7305 to make arrangements for stock donations.
  8. Can my donation be refunded?
    No, they can not. If circumstances change and a project cannot be completed or is no longer needed, donations will be transferred to Ogden School Foundation Grants Program to fund minigrants for teachers.
  9. Can I make a general donation without choosing a school or project?
    You are welcome to use the Quick Donation link on the home page to make a general donation to the Ogden School Foundation Grant Fund. Donations as small as $10 will be accepted there.
  10. Will I receive a receipt for my donation?
    Receipts for tax purposes will be issued for donations as allowed by law.
  11. If the teacher moves to a different school next year, can she/he take the funded materials with them?
    No, they can't. Resources funded through Ogden City Schools Donations Web site are considered property of the school. If a teacher moves to a different school, both the Principal and the Ogden School Foundation must give permission for the funded items to be moved. Otherwise items stay at the school they were awarded to.
  12. How do I know that projects are worthwhile and that funds will be used as promised?
    All projects must be approved by the school principal prior to being posted on the site. Purchases must be made through the regular school district purchase order process. Copies of receipts must be provided to the Ogden School Foundation at the end of the school year for verification.
If circumstances change and a project cannot be completed or is no longer needed, donations will be transferred to the Ogden School Foundation Grant Program to fund minigrants for teachers.
