Ogden School District will be providing ongoing updates throughout the 2024-2025 school year regarding the closure of Bonneville Elementary School and the opening of the new Hillcrest Elementary School.
Ogden School District intends to close Bonneville Elementary School at the conclusion of the 2024-2025 school year. This is in conjunction with the planned opening of the new Hillcrest Elementary School in August, 2025.
Ogden School District is considering boundary adjustments to all elementary schools north of 12th Street as well as New Bridge Elementary School in order to maximize capacity of our school buildings along with convenience and safety for our students.
The school boundaries that will be under consideration for adjustments in the 2025-2026 school year include:
- Bonneville Elementary (closing)
- East Ridge Elementary
- Heritage Elementary
- Hillcrest Elementary (re-opening)
- Lincoln Elementary
- New Bridge Elementary
Ogden School District Board of Education will convene in a special session at Bonneville Elementary school to provide an opportunity for public comment on Wednesday, November 20, 2024 from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. There will be additional public meetings throughout this school year to gather feedback on proposals for boundary changes.
