Mount Ogden Junior High School and Ogden School District are celebrating a prestigious honor earned by our students and teachers.

We are thrilled to announce that Mount Ogden Junior High School has officially been authorized as an International Baccalaureate (IB) World School, offering the prestigious Middle Years Programme (MYP)! This significant achievement reflects years of dedication, collaboration, and growth by our teachers, students, and school community.

As the only public junior high school in Utah with this designation, we join an elite network of schools worldwide that share a commitment to creating a better, more peaceful world through intercultural understanding and rigorous education. Together with Liberty Elementary and Ogden High School, Mount Ogden helps complete Ogden School District’s state-leading IB pathway—the only one in Utah.
