"I am so proud to be part of the team here in Ogden School District. I have been in other school districts, but the educators here in Ogden are the best! The knowledge and expertise each and every one of our teachers and staff has is tremendous. Our students are experiencing a fabulous education because of the hard work and dedication of our employees. The amazing teachers and staff in Ogden School District work extremely hard to impact the lives of students and they are able to take pride in all of their wonderful accomplishments."

Ogden School District has been a recent leader in setting the standard for teacher pay in Northern Utah. But we offer so much more than just financial security. We are one of the largest employers in the city of Ogden and many people who have grown up in Ogden and attended our schools choose to remain here and work with us. Still others come from places outside the state and even outside the country, drawn to the city and the district by the opportunity to work in a place large enough to offer cutting-edge technology, yet small enough to make a personal connection. We are proud of our city and we think it's a great place to live, but you don't have to take our word for it. In their 2016 report, Forbes ranked Ogden as the second best city in the country to raise a family and No. 8 in the nation for best places for business and careers.
Ogden School District is on the move to substantial and permanent improvement of student achievement. Our teachers provide high quality instruction. There is an outstanding support structure in place for new teachers as well as veteran teachers seeking to improve the delivery of instruction. Our teachers have a dedicated group of skilled and talented mentors. There is an EYE Teacher Specialist, School Support Team Members, District Math Specialist, District Language Arts Specialist, District Music Specialist and District Instructional Technology Specialist as well as other resources.
People in Ogden don't just work here. They play here. With a thriving downtown offering a multitude of options from great food to music and arts to sports and entertainment, you're never more than a few blocks away from a good time. Choose from one of two rivers flowing through the city to go fishing or just float downstream in a tube or kayak. Hike the foothills or climb the majestic Wasatch mountains on the east side of the city and capture breathtaking views of the Great Salt Lake to the west of town. Spend your winter days skiing or snowboarding at one of three mountain resorts that are just minutes away. If you don't like the snow then spend an evening at an indoor climbing gym or hang ten while indoor surfing. Or venture beyond the city limits to visit one of Utah's five national parks.
