Partner Preschools


Ogden School District partners with YMCA, Headstart, Waterford Upstart, and Weber State Lehner Preschool to promote school readiness of children in our district boundaries.

Families may apply for enrollment by starting the registration process online through Infinite Campus regardless of the program they are applying for.

YMCA

YMCA offers full-day and half-day programs for 3-5 year olds at several locations including Heritage, Lincoln, Liberty, Odyssey, and Polk Elementary Schools. YMCA has a monthly cost but many will qualify for scholarships.

OWCAP Head Start

Head Start is a federal program that promotes the school readiness of children up to 5 years old, enhancing their cognitive, social, and emotional development. Our Head Start and Early Head Start programs provide educational activities, health services, nutritious meals, and self-sufficiency support for the entire family.

Waterford Upstart

This online learning program is available at NO COST for children the year before they start kindergarten. They'll learn reading, math, and science in less than 30 minutes a day to be ready for kindergarten.

Weber State Lehner Preschool

Morning and afternoon options for 2.5 hours Monday- Thursday on the Weber State University campus for a set fee. 
Full-day option at Weber State Community Education Center from 7:30am-5:00pm Monday through Friday. Sliding scale fee based on income.

Learn with Playgroups

Learn with Playgroup is a free weekly educational play experience for 0–5-year-olds and their parent(s). This program focuses on educating the family to prepare children for kindergarten. Families learn how to support their children in reaching developmental milestones, increase parent-child engagement, and provide families with a social network. Playgroups are located throughout Ogden including at Odyssey Elementary.
