Plan for College and Career Readiness (PCCR):

We are excited to announce that during the 2024-25 school year, Ogden School District is implementing a new process for 6th-12th grades Plan for College and Career Readiness (PCCR). This process is a comprehensive approach designed to support your student as they establish personal goals and develop future plans. 

The PCCR is a program where school counselors work closely  with students to help them:

• Transition smoothly from one grade to the next
• Set future goals (including selecting college and career pathways)
• Establish career literacy

This program allows school counselors to establish a systemic approach for the school counseling program, building an environment where each student has access to all school programs and can achieve and attain their goals. 

As we transition to this district wide process, individual schools will be sharing with each student and parent a digital Plan for College and Career Readiness (PCCR) Student Portfolio. This portfolio and process will:

• Follow the student from year to year and as they move between schools.
• Be student-led, with the support of their counselor and school staff.
• Allow students to set academic and career goals, graduation goals and plans. 
• Provide guidance on the many opportunities and paths for Ogden School District students.

Along with the Student Portfolio, you'll also receive information specific to your child's grade level and a PCCR Resource document with helpful links and tools.
