Emergency Planning for Schools

Ogden School District is committed to providing a safe and secure school environment to all of our students, staff and community members. This Emergency Operations Plan Guide reviews methods and practices to assist the School Safety Response Team (SSRT) in creating a school-specific Emergency Operations Plan (EOP) with the objective of maximizing the safety and security of our students, staff and community before, during and after an incident resulting from a threat or hazard.

Ogden School District acknowledges the necessity of each school preparing an EOP in accordance to Utah State Administrative Rules R277-400-1 through 10. Your school plan should also meet the requirements to provide a safe and secure learning environment established by the negotiated agreement between the Ogden School District and associations representing district professionals.
