General Admission covers costs to use the facility during open hours including lap swim, open swim, and water aerobics.

3 & Under, FREE- 3 & under must wear swim diaper and plastic pant over diaper

Turn any individual pass into a family pass by adding 50% of membership rate. For district employees it is $100 per family. Must be spouse or dependent children.

POOL RULES
 

General

*Follow lifeguard instructions. Be attentive and respectful to lifeguards at all times

*Be considerate of others

*No glass or food or drink in the locker rooms or pool area

*Towel off before entering the lobby area - No dripping wet lobby area access allowed

*No one admitted under the influence of alcohol or drugs

*Diving allowed only in designated areas

*No running

*No dangerous or rough play allowed

*Guards may administer a swim test to determine the need for wearing a life vest or being restricted to shallow areas of the pool

Age Requirements

*Ages 5 and under must have an adult, chaperone, or guardian within arms-reach at all times

*Children 8 and under must have an adult, chaperone, or guardian in the facility at all times.

Equipment

DIVING BOARD

*Form line on concrete behind diving board stairs

*One person at a time

*One bounce only

*Next person may go once person ahead is to the side of the pool

*No catching allowed- stay off to pool side

*No gainers

*Lifeguards may not allow certain dives for any patron who does not clear the board well or dive safely

*Flotation devices are NOT allowed on the diving board.

SLIDE

*One person down the slide at a time

*Must be 42" tall to ride alone

*Parents, guardians, or chaperones may accompany young children

*No catching kids at the bottom. Stay out of the white water area

*No running, standing, kneeling, tumbling, or stopping in the flume

*No head first sliding

*No life vests or floaties or swim suits with buckles or buttons that scratch the slide

Wibit Long Track

*Maximum 2 people at a time

*Form a line behind the shallow/deep rope to use the Wibit

*Once people are on the top of the Wibit, the next set of people may go

*Do not position yourself underneath another person- wait until they are on the top of the Wibit

*No wrestling or rough play allowed

*Feet first entry off the cliff side

*Once at the top- exit, do not wait for a prolonged period of time

*Flotation devices may be NOT worn

*Anyone who can climb the Wibit on their own and without the assistance of another may use the Wibit

*Anyone requiring assistance to climb the Wibit may not use it

Group Swimming Lessons
 

• Summer Sessions: June through August (M-TH lessons for 2 weeks)
• School Year SATURDAY Morning Lessons: September through May.(4 Saturday Morning lessons)
• School Year PM Lessons: September through May (M-W for 1 month)
• Class size averages 6 to 1 students to teacher ratio.
• For Ages 3 and up
• Parent & Child courses available for ages 6 MO. to 3 YR.
• SUMMERTIME Lessons are 30 minutes long for a total of 8 lessons. 
• SATURDAY School Year lessons times are available starting at 8am to 1pm. There are 4 lessons in a session.
• SCHOOL YEAR AM & PM Lessons are held M-W for one month for a total of 8, 30 minute lessons in a session.
• Lessons are subject to cancellation based upon enrollment and instructor availability.

Deck Space: Available with chairs.

Patio: Available with tables. Closed during inclement weather

Locker rooms: Large women's and men's locker rooms are available. There are 4 private showers in each locker room.

Lockers are available for day use and locks are also available to rent.

 

Lobby Restrooms: Large, private restrooms available with changing table.

The pool is not responsible for any lost or stolen items.

LIFEGUARD TRAINING

 

Calling all future lifeguards!

 

Lifeguard Training and Certification is available at the Ben Lomond pool!

 

In order to qualify for enrollment all students must:

 Be 15 years of age or older by the last date of the class

 Pass a swim test in which you will be asked to

1) Swim 300 yards continuously- Freestyle or Breaststroke

2)Tread for 2 minutes using only feet

3) Swim 20 yards, retrieve 10 LB object from a depth of 12 feet and swim back to starting point

 

Classes are held Monday-Thursday for two weeks in the Spring. Participants who pass the skills and written tests at the completion of the training will receive certification, valid for 2 years.
