The District Library Program facilitates innovative collaboration with teachers and students to build transliteracy skills for locating, using, and creating new information while promoting a love of reading and learning. Using a variety of technologies, the program will cultivate an atmosphere of inquiry and critical thinking with an emphasis on reading, writing, listening, and speaking across the curriculum guided by the Utah Core Standards and the Standards for the 21st Century Learner.

In Ogden School District, highly-qualified library media specialists work in collaboration with content area teachers and school library clerks to provide research- and inquiry-based instruction in order to develop our students’ ability to find and use information to support their academic learning and personal development.
