Summer Programs 2022
Summer Bridge programs are designed to support students' academic progress during the summer months between the 2021-2022 and 2022-2023 academic schedules.
The Summer Bridge program utilizes targeted, student-specific learning approach, customized to students who have been identified as being able to benefit from additional support. If you have questions about Summer Bridge academic support please contact your student's school.
Ogden Online High School Summer Classes
Ogden Online provides students with a seamless opportunity to engage in online learning for high school credit. Students engage in digital coursework that meets the needs of the Utah State Core Standards. Additionally, teachers will engage students in their learning much more than simply reading and assessing online assignments. Courses offered this summer include:
- Financial Literacy
- Fit for Life
- U.S. Government
Classes run from June 6, 2022 through August 5, 2022. Eligibility applies only to students who attended Ogden School District during the 2021-2022 school year. Contact your counselor for more information and to sign up.
Free Professional Tutoring
During summer, this free service will continue to be available to our students who were in 5th grade and above in the 2021-2022 school year. Learn more.
Summer Enrichment Camps (sponsored by Weber County R.A.M.P.) are separate from our Summer Bridge academic programs.
These summer camps provide opportunities for students to explore their creativity, build confidence and develop small-group collaboration skills.

Advanced Theatre Program
At Ben Lomond High School.
The Advanced Theatre Program will perform. Twelve Dancing Princesses. Twelve princesses who party the nights away, dancing through their shoes and their mother's patience in this new telling of the familiar story. When traveling soldier Frederick and his loyal friend attempt to solve the mystery and bring the kingdom back to its senses, they discover a whole other world. Will they fall victim to its charms?
All parents or guardians who wish to enroll a student in a summer camp must complete the entire registration form. Payment of camp fees MUST be collected on the first day of camp. Payments may be made with cash or credit/debit card. No checks will be accepted. Cost: $55 for the first student, $40 for each additional sibling & Includes a T-Shirt.

Ballroom Dance Camp
At Ben Lomond High School School.
Calling all students! Come experience the fun of a ballroom dance camp! Mrs. Nelson will be teaching beginner level bachata and east coast swing. Wear comfortable, modest clothing, and tennis shoes (heels suggested for girls). Please bring a water bottle and a positive attitude. Students will have fun learning various dance styles.
All parents or guardians who wish to enroll a student in a summer camp must complete the entire registration form. There are no fees for this camp.

Band FUNdamentals
At Ogden High School.
Welcome to Band "Fun"damentals Camp where students will learn the basics of ensemble playing, marching, and learn a variety of music. All parents or guardians who wish to enroll a student in a summer camp must complete the entire registration form. This camp has no fee.

Beginning Pottery Wheel Camp
At Ben Lomond High School.
Welcome Wheel Throwing Camp for Beginners!
Students will learn start to finish to create a cup, mug, spoon rest, and a bowl. Each piece will be trimmed and decorated by the student.
All parents or guardians who wish to enroll a student in a summer camp must complete the entire registration form. There are no fees for this camp.

Caricature Art
At Ben Lomond High School.
Learn to appreciate art, level up your basic drawing skills and enjoy the art of doing cartoon drawings and caricatures. We will do step-by-step exercises and follow-along drawing assignments that take no less than 20-30 mins per day. Art experience is not required. Come willing to learn and have fun! Students will also provide the community with a day of fun caricature drawings at the Ogden Arts Festival June 11.
All parents or guardians who wish to enroll a student in a summer camp must complete the entire registration form. This camp has no fee.

Visual Arts Camp
At Mount Ogden Junior High School
Students develop their creativity and self expression through various visual art mediums. All parents or guardians who wish to enroll a student in a summer camp must complete this entire registration form. There is no fee for this camp.

- Days/Time: Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday 9:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.
- Grades: 5th - 8th

Summer Food Service Program
This is a free service provided by Ogden School District Child Nutrition Services for all children age 18 or younger.
Meals will be served to children who are present at the following locations. Packaged meals will not be available for pickup. Breakfast is not served at city parks.
