Summer Bridge programs are designed to support students' academic progress during the summer months between the 2022-2023 and 2023-2024 academic schedules.
The Summer Bridge program utilizes targeted, student-specific learning approach, customized to students who have been identified as being able to benefit from additional support. If you have questions about Summer Bridge academic support please contact your student's school.
Ogden Online High School Summer Classes
We are again offering three online courses this summer through Ogden Online: Fitness for Life, Financial Literacy, and US Gov & Citizenship. Students should work with their counselors to sign up directly through the sign up form. These courses are available for students entering 10th, 11th, and 12th grades for the 2023-24 school year. This is not credit recovery, original credit only.
Ben Lomond High School Credit Recovery
We are again offering credit recovery classes at Ben Lomond High School. These courses are intended for students entering 10th, 11th and 12th grades for the 2023-2024 school year and are in need of credit recovery. Students should work with their counselors to register for the summer session classes to ensure they are enrolled in the correct course work.
Summer Enrichment Camps (sponsored by Weber County R.A.M.P.) are separate from our Summer Bridge academic programs.
These summer camps provide opportunities for students to explore their creativity, build confidence and develop small-group collaboration skills.
Advanced Theatre Program
At Ben Lomond High School
The Advanced Theatre Program is the best game in town for youth theatre programs, as we complete the six weeks with a full production. The students will learn about theater, character development, and for some even technical support. This year they will be performing Peter & Wendy.
All parents or guardians who wish to enroll a student in a summer camp must complete the entire registration form. Advanced Theatre Camp fees must be collected on the first day of camp. Payments may be made with cash or credit/debit card. No checks will be accepted.

Bagpipe Camp
At Ben Lomond High School
Welcome to Bagpipes Camp!
Ben Lomond High School Bagpipe Camp will support those working towards and those already in the Ben Lomond High School Bagpipe Corps. During these two weeks pipers will spend time working on pipe tuning, pipe maintenance, and we will learn the essential tunes for being in the corps. For drummers we will work on crisp timing, basic technique, and also will learn the essential tunes for being in the corps. This camp is perfect for those in the corps, and for those who aspire to play with the Ben Lomond High Bagpipe Corps. The camp will be split into 3 groups: beginners, intermediate, and advanced. Beginners can have no musical experience whatsoever, and this camp can work as an introduction to the world of piping and drumming.

Ceramics: Ogden Totem Pole Camp

Welcome to Ceramics: Ogden Totem Pole Camp!
Four-day high school summer ceramics camp designed for 11th and 12th graders with prior experience in ceramics. Ten young artists from the community collaborating together to create a unique outdoor sculpture. The theme for this year is "Arts! Heart of the City" and will focus on creating a totem pole that represents the community of Ben Lomond High School in Ogden, Utah. The participants will be under the guidance of ceramics instructor, Logan Iverson. Students will design the sculpture through a collaborative process to create a cohesive piece using a 10-inch tall cylindrical ceramic piece as the base. A variety of surface design techniques and materials will be learned and applied to create the final product which will be installed outdoors on a post at Ben Lomond High School using a strong adhesive for stability and security. The finished sculpture will be a beautiful and lasting addition to the community, representing the unique perspectives and experiences of each participant. All parents or guardians who wish to enroll a student in a summer camp must complete the entire registration form. This camp has no fee.

Tidepool Condos: Act, sing, and dance about ocean creatures! Come learn about sea creatures, theatre, and how we can advocate for ocean life even when we live far away. We will be rehearsing and performing a 25-minute musical to perform for parents at the end of the camp. Summer Food Service Program
This is a free service provided by Ogden School District Child Nutrition Services for all children age 18 or younger. Meals will be served to children who are present at the following locations. Packaged meals will not be available for pickup. Breakfast is not served at city parks.
