Highlights of the Ogden School District Board of Education regular session meeting.
The students of the month were announced and celebrated:
Marck Ferreira - Ben Lomond High School
Postponed until December - George Washington High School
Amisadai Diaz - Ogden High School
Titi Real - OTECH High School
Victor Loiza - Post High School
Students from Ben Lomond and Ogden High School were recognized for earning Academic All-State honors.

A pair of Ogden High students were recognized for their All-State Choir achievement, Amie Graham (pictured) and Eliza Bohne.
Ogden High School automotive CTE teacher Jim Cook was celebrated for being the first ever recipient of a new annual award from the Collision Repair Education Foundation (CREF) that recognizes excellence in CTE education which leads to job placement following high school. Read about the award.
A presentation was delivered highlighting efforts in the areas of visual arts and performing arts.
Student Board of Education representative Edwin Huerta from Ben Lomond High school delivered a presentation about the fall activities at the school.
The Policy and Law Committee recommended revisions to the following policies:

9.200 Student Fees and Charges
9.309 Electronic Devices
