Highlights of the Ogden School District Board of Education regular session meeting.
The students of the month were announced and celebrated:
McKenzie Reeves - Ben Lomond High School
Aliyah Chavez - George Washington High School
Francisco Rivas - Ogden High School
Marco Renteria Muniz - OTECH High School
Lynzi Allred - Post High School
Ben Lomond & Ogden High School were recognized for being state leaders among the academic growth of students learning English as a second language
Ogden High School was recognized by Weber State University for the highest increase in students taking concurrent enrollment (CE) courses for college credit.
Mount Ogden Junior High was celebrated for receiving Presidential Award for Community Engagement from Weber State University.
Eight teachers were acknowledged by the state of Utah as being outstanding educators making an impact in high-poverty schools: Allene Voreis, Heritage Elementary - Vickie Eddy, Liberty Elementary - Kim Pickett, Lincoln Elementary - Rosita Parrilla-Parks, Lincoln Elementary - Audrey Merrill, New Bridge Elementary - Chelsie Poll, New Bridge Elementary - Amity Rockwell, New Bridge Elementary - Kim Beger, Mound Fort Junior High
Student Board of Education representative Aleksah Mendez from Ogden High school delivered a presentation about recent activities at the school.

8.5.505 Family Education Rights and Privacy (FERPA)
9.1.101 Compulsory Attendance Ages
9.1.111 Alternative Education Programs
9.2.203 Student Clubs and Organizations
9.2.204 Student Fund Raising Activities
Consolidation of 9.201 and 9.202 about Student Travel
