The 2025-2026 Board of Education Student representatives were recognized: Aleksah Mendez - Ogden High School, Edwin Huerta & Adrian Villezcas - Ben Lomond High School
Ben Lomond student Brooklyn Richey was celebrated for earning her third Academic All-State award of the year.
Brett Barker was honored by the Utah Recreation and Parks Association for his work to earn the National Field of the Year award from the Sports Field Management Association for the Ben Lomond High School softball field. Read the national publication article here.
Denett Banz was recognized for Advancement III certification from the National Association of Educational Office Professionals.
Principal Shauna Haney celebrated the Academic All-State recipients from Ogden High School.
Head Coach Todd Scott celebrated the Ogden High School boys soccer team for winning their third straight state championship.
Mount Ogden Junior High student Juno Winger was celebrated for earning first place at the Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) State Competition.
Eight students were recognized as champions from the state level of the National History Day competition.
Adam McMickel was honored as the recipient of the Mentor of the Year award from the Utah Association of Assessment Directors.
